Help us make our student short film

In Passing

“The past is dead. We don’t dig up what’s dead.”

Meet The Team

Our Mission

We want to produce a film that will test what we can achieve as students and push our skills to the limit. We want this film to be built on the foundation of a solid story that will grip an audience and leave a lasting impact. But most importantly, we want to make something we’re proud of.

About The Project

STORY SUMMARY

When a young girl stumbles upon a mysterious love letter amongst her mother’s old scrap papers, she embarks on a quest to uncover the truth about her unspoken past. Driven by the powerful desire to understand herself, the young girl treads dangerously close to a truth she cannot handle, coming face to face with the devastating consequences of erasing the past.

FINAL FILM Release

May 2025

The university’s deadline for the film is May 12, 2025, making it the final deadline for the film. After this, we will start our distribution process, looking to submit the film to various festivals. Our end goal, however, is to publish the film to all major video platforms for all of you to see, for free!

Director’s Statement

“Ultimately, my goal is to craft a journey that resonates with anyone who has ever felt compelled to
uncover their past, only to find that the answers may be messier than anticipated. I hope audiences leave
feeling inspired to reflect on their own relationships and histories, reminded that while the search for
identity is deeply personal, it is a shared experience.”
